FAQ

Answers about access, priority, and fair-use controls.

Access & Flow

What is Z-Image and what can I do today?
Z-Image is a prompt-first AI image workspace that keeps generation open to everyone under fair-use controls. This landing page highlights an interactive preview, curated prompts, and a future-ready UI while we ship the full generator, gallery, and sharing tools.
Can I generate without logging in? How does that differ from an account?
Guests can try the demo immediately, but anonymous traffic follows tighter throughput limits, stricter rate caps, and a slower queue. Logging in grants daily boost points, priority slots, and access to saved prompts, gallery uploads, and reward features.
How can I reuse prompts or explore gallery examples?
Each gallery card retains the prompt, parameters, and seed so you can reproduce or remix a look. Click “Use this prompt” to hydrate the demo input, then tweak style, lighting, or composition with the same instructions.
Can I leave the page while a request runs? How will I know when it's ready?
The queue is designed so you can keep browsing the gallery or drafting new prompts while a task runs. We plan to show ETA, queue status, and send an in-site notification once generation completes, so you never have to stare at a spinner.

Priority & Boosts

What are daily boost points and how do they help?
Logged-in users receive a small bundle of boost points every day. Spending a point routes the task into a priority queue with higher concurrency, lower ETA, and extra stability so you experience noticeably faster output during peaks.
What happens when boost points run out or during peak demand?
When points are exhausted, requests fall back to the normal fair-use queue—but they never get blocked. You can keep generating, the system keeps you in line, and fresh boost points arrive with the next daily reset or community contribution.
How do I track my queue position and task status?
We will surface a smart queue with ETA labels such as “queued,” “generating,” and “post-processing,” plus notifications when your image is ready. Progress information and alerts let you keep working on prompts or explore the gallery while waiting.

Fair Use & Safety

Why is there still a queue if generation is unlimited?
Unlimited means there is no hard cap, not that every request runs instantly. During traffic spikes we queue jobs to level the GPU load, keep latency predictable, and treat waiting as part of a stable experience.
What behavior can trigger cooldowns or verification?
Spammy loops, repeated automation, or policy-flagged prompts trip dynamic throttles. The system watches IP/device signals, request frequency, and error patterns, then gently cools off or asks for a quick verification to protect everyone.
How long are uploads kept and are they used for training?
We keep uploads only as long as needed to serve requests, cache reproducible galleries, and support anti-abuse audits. They will not be used for training without explicit notice, and private sharing controls are planned for the full release.
How do I report abusive or disallowed content?
We plan to add report controls alongside generation results so the team can review prompt, image, and metadata. Reports are triaged, repeat offenders are throttled, and fairness rules are enforced to protect the community.
